Melbourne

Adios from Melbourne!!!
So yesterday, I took a bus from Sentral to LCCT to meet my family before boarding together for the flight to Melbourne. It took around 8hrs of flight, which I slept through most of it. It's currently summer, so the breeze that usually welcomed me was missing this time around,
it's just so warm here.
Went for Viatnamese Lunch - which was just alright, since I'm not a big fan.
We walked around Viatnamese Street. And had Chinese dinner there too.
It's a lil interesting how my verryyy Asian parents just seem to eye all things Asian even in a foreign country, lol.

Ma hotel: Batman's HIll on Collins :)
Melbourne is such a beautiful city! I could totally picture myself living here.
I love how this place is so Asian, how it is labelled as "2nd Malaysia".
The people you see, I figured, probably 50-50 is locals/Caucasians to Asians.
It's pretty mindblowing, but I love it, it feels so homey!!
Asia in Australia, yessss.
And the people here are so nice!
The guy from the hotel receptionist totally made a good impression, so yes,
Melbourne's maybe, 80% green light. hehe.

my current current current state.
I really need a heads up as to where my path leads to..
And i just need strength to work so much more harder,
and just work really really hard.
But however it turns out to be, I want to be happy everyday.

Just like this.
Anyway, attending Anna's bar admission tmr at the Victoria Supreme Court!
How exciting~!

oh and just a quick update of what I did over the weekend..
hmm, the red bean bag, and the awkward moment :)

toodles!

Sweet dream~

So i guess my dream last night was pretty sweet. I dreamt about the gay besties who came to my house to surprise me for my birthday! Celine came along, but she didn't play such a a big role :P Anyhoo, they both came, and they greeted me before heading to my room/somewhereinmyhouse getting all busy. Well, I'm unsure how the real sequence went, but vaguely putting the pieces together, they were busy preparing to give me the best birthday ever, as they got their hands dirty with putting together a photo album for me. It was really really warm and sweet! But I never got to find out what was in the photo album, as I was awaken by roomie's alarm =.= I tried to go back to sleep, but the dream stopped there. Anywho, it was just a really sweet dream, cuz they were both sooo exhausted from preparing everything, and it was raining, and they fell asleep, and woke up again . . .

"The subconcious mind leads to your dreams" they say.

I guess it's the stress piling up, and I'm feeling.. hm, a bit lack of love I guess. haha :P

Plain Jane

Love this! <3

I guess I've been stuck in the comfort zone for far too long. And also holding on to the same things for far far too long. I guess it's time to take a risk and jump!

P.S. This is a great read, especially for students who are looking to do Law in the future :)

#movie

"I remember thinking that I am just an average person among all, even more average than just average. I believed that I wasn't at all beautiful.. For a long while, I stopped taking selfies and just envied the world, forgetting who I really am."

I guess my homesickness is lingering a lil longer. haha

Post CNY

sissilicious~

This Chinese New Year has been so special and meaningful.
And it would never had been so without my sissie, and my lovely friends sent down from heaven.
Though the week was spent very simply, not as busy as I anticipated, but I feel like I've grown quite a bit at mind this trip. Since Jie has graduated and is doing her internship in Hong Kong now, she has so many stories to tell and inspire people. A perfect topping to this was her one month solo experience in Europe. I'm really proud of her, and I'm really excited for her.
At the same time, hearing Jie sharing stories has taught me a few things.
One of it would be that the sky is really your limit
There are no boundaries as to how much we can learn,
and there's endless things out there waiting just to inspire you.

I'm so glad I'm heading closer to the end of A-Levels.
I'm really excited of what's going to happen next. The road ahead is still uncertain and so I really have no expectations at all. It feels pretty good this way. Hehe. Cuz most of my life, I've lived anticipating what my next move is, where my next destination shall be. But for now, it's either a golden ticket (scholarship) to the UK, or start a twinning program locally where home is just simply 1000 miles away.

My heart beats faster at the sound of a full complete 3 yr degree program in the UK, or rather a 4 yr programme in Nottingham where I can do a transfer program travelling to other parts of the world. But if what's set and decided is KL, I'm fine too I suppose. My counsellor told me not to sweat it, since both paths will eventually lead me to where I want to be - a law graduate.

Trials is in a month's time. And I suppose tomorrow is the day where we reply to Ms D about our decision to remain as a Student Advisor for Student Council. The instant decision was a no when I first heard it a month or two back, but I have decided to take up the position. I decided on the basis of making the most out of what I have now :) A2 finals will be in May/June. The A-Levels journey shall end there, then I'll have a two months transition period before settling to wherever. I plan to do something really cool then, in a long term manner, rather than just a few hour short activity such as rocking Mount K. Hopefully, I'll stumble upon some cool stuff then!

Don't get me wrong. I really appreciate my experience here in KL, as well as friends I met here. Throughout last year, I feel like I've learnt so much about life, undergoing the mental warfare. It was crazy, and recalling now, I can't believe it's all over, truly deeply over and that there's only about 3 months left! :O scream shorrtttt!

Anyway, at the time being, I don't think KL is the place for me yet.
But I thank KL for grooming me all these months.

Hope all of you had a splendid CNY as I did!! :)
I've posted photos of what I did on FB, feel free to scroll through all of em!!

p.s. Melbourne dudes make my heart skip a beat! < 3

There's currently sooo much to do, yet soooo little time, and this is soooo cliche.
I'm excited for the future, but I have to constantly remind myself to live in the moment and embrace every second.

It's been great this Chinese New Year! Feel so blessed that the family is complete, at least for once in a long time. Though it's not perfect, but it's still better than nothing :) will post some photos soon!

have a great cny peepos! << 33
